I have Dark Cornish Bantams , Always have extra cockrels, Are they worth butchering?

Sweet! Is the hand shake the first and if I pass I get the code book too?! Back on topic for a minute. Can you all help me on how to slow down the CX as far as feeding so I dont blow them out? All the rest of mine I cane feed all the want with no problems. Do I lower the protein or just limit feed or both?

oh my gosh those are cute! here we are all trying to upsize them and she's go the mini version. sure butcher away I bet they will be great!

arrow I kept mine alive by both methods. mostly free range with lower protien feed. they will exercise if forced to to find food.

Al Thats what I'm shooting for! In cattle terms, big boned, thick and nice fronted! Oh, sorry for your loss with the hen

Then I wait a full day or two and do it again. My Cornish X hen's & Roo's are well over 2 yrs old, healthy, agile, and fat, not to mention they have laid well to this day.
