I have been trying to buy leghorns for a long time. Sadly no one will sell me hatching eggs. Someone came to me and said he had some Red Leghorns. The price is good but i have never heard of any such chicken. I have heard of Brown but never red lol.

Do they lay like normal leghorns? Same white egg color, Size, Quantity?

How am i going to tell the difference between them and all my other red chickens lol Are they different enough i could tell them apart?

Does anyone own some? And if you do could i have some pics [IMG]

    Thanks

Apparently there are 17 recognized varieties in the French Standard. Italy accepts about 10 varieties.

I don't own leghorns, this is a stock photo.
