Red Light not staying on in Little Giant??

You'll have to play with the vent holes and the water amount per time of year and even down to the room you want the bator in. It all changes based on the humidity outside the house, in the house, and down to the room you are in. Give at least an hour or even more for temps to stabilize, and know that once you put eggs in, give it at least half a day to get to temp and try not to touch the knob. The coolness of the eggs will make the sensor think it is too cold, thus make it "too warm" till everything is at equilibrium. The key is patience and lots of patience.

The day I set the eggs Ill probably stay home all day to monitor them. The last time I set my eggs in my homemade one I was out all day and the temp rose to 111 degrees. The duck eggs actually lived through it. This time the only changes I will make is if the temp reads too high.

I am in the same boat I set my LG up for the first time yesterday have a fan and a egg turner.
temp went through the roof. (off the scale) I have a temp and humidity gauge from wally world an the temp finely stayed at 99-100. the humidity went down to 27--28 no farther I have the C ring filled with water but nothing above 28 Also when the eggs arrive next week do I let them stay at room temp. before I put them in the bator?
