Red or Buff Cochin?

I got a red cochin for my daughter, it's now 3 weeks old and it's not looking so red? I think it may be a buff or maybe they get darker as they age? Any thoughts? , Thanks.

Buff Cochin. Red Cochin Chicks are usually a lot redder, and get red feathers in.

I bought a gold sex link who was rather light in color, but she's feathering in a dark deep red.

Looks like a Buff Cochin to me.

Thanks everyone, I think your right about it being a buff, I'm keeping my fingers crossed though since my 4 yr old all ready named it Ariel because it was supposed to be red!!!
