The red should start coming in at around a month 1/2

They will start getting red at around 1 1/2 months! The older they are, the more red they will get. I just love that breed of chicken! SO pretty!

Sorry I'm late getting back! I have an OEG Bantam ( I had only ordered Modern Game) that is white but he's starting a show a bit of cream coloring now...He was born the end of March. You cant see it here but maybe I can get a picture tonight.
You don't think he's going to change color, do you?

You see, with Red Pyle to obtain the perfect coloring it is necessary to cross in a Black Breasted Red variety of the breed of your bird every now and then cause the white dilute that makes the red Pyle look also dilutes the red over generations until it is yellow. The coloring of your bird makes sense if you got it from a hatchery

He did come from a hatchery. When I got them I was unaware of any local breeders. I've since learned of some.
I'm not clear on what you're thinking about the color though. Do you think he will stay white?
I had only ordered Modern Game Bantams so I was quite surprised that I received two OEG.

How old is he? With that crown size he looks like he is old enough to be covered in red. He will, unfortunately, stay white.
