Ok I posted this in the raising chicks, and now I am wondering if it belongs here instead. I am raising red rangers on organic feed and pasture in a tractor(they are still in the brooder at this point) I am keeping track of on going costs.

Hopefully this can be helpful for anyone considering this.

The birds finally moved from the brooder to the pasture yesterday!! Check out how we actually get them out of the brooder :)

HAH! maybe..but they were skittish before that.

We are in South Louisiana. We love the property, hard to find affordable land down here
