Red roo or pullet

    I bought production red pullets but this one I am thinking is a roo.
    My husband doesn't think so. It has larger combs and wattles and is now getting green feathers on it's neck.
    I am not sure about the age. No crowing yet.

    Yes without a doubt that is a roo.

    Cock-a-doodle-doo! [​IMG] You can also see the pointy saddle feathers in front of his tail, soon you'll see the long, stringy hackle feathers coming in.

    Yep, there's testosterone in that chicken's veins. And lots of it.
