We bought some chicks from TSC roughly 7 weeks ago. 2 of them were "Red Pullets". I am pretty sure that they are both a Red Sex Link. But, I am new to chickens and therefore I am not certain. The sign at TSC said ...

Potential Breeds:
Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red,
Red Sex Link, Production Red

Are these two pretty red pullets Red Sex link?

I bought 12 birds from TSC also in TN (Fairview) and mine where (as told by people on here) that I had Red Sexlinks and white leghorns. Look just like yours also

We bought 2 "Pullets", 2 "Red Pullets", and 2 Buff Orpington. It turns out that we have 2 White Leghorn and 2 Red Sex Link, all 4 pullets. I've heard of people buying pullets and actually ending up with roo's. Our BO's have turned out to be 1 Pullet and 1 Cockerel. We had no clue about chickens when we bought them. They were Easter gifts for our kids. It has been an interesting experience with them so far and we are loving it. We also ended up getting 9 Black Copper Maran chicks from a local breeder. The are 4 weeks old today. I'll probably end up having questions about them later on. One of them definitely stands out from the others.

I too am new to chickens and bought the reds from TSC. I got 12 of then plus 2 leghorns. I Thought I had Rhode Island Reds But have to since discovered they are red stars. I have been waiting for crawling in any signs of any of them being roosters so far nothing I bought them on March the 6th. My research says that red star roosters are predominantly white Is this true? All of my red stars look just like the two in the above picture does that mean they are all hens? II honestly can't remember if the sign said red pullets with the potential breeds listed Or if they just have the potential breeds listed under the Reds same as the original post here. Please help I want to know if I have any roosters since I got a dozen to weed out any potential roosters. TIA :)

If your birds are red, and are red stars; then they are females.
