red spot on belly

Can anyone tell me why my chick hatched with a red/bloody spot on it's belly ??? Will it be ok ?? Or will it die.... It's chirping away like crazy !!! Thanks

That is its navel. It is the area where the yolk was absorbed before hatch. Leave it alone and watch the chick. It should close up in the next 24 hours.
