Red spots in poo

I have two 18 week old Australorp pullets and have noticed a few droppings with red spots.

I have spotted a few poos over the last week that have these red dots in them and am not sure which one or if it's both the pullets.

All other behaviour has been normal.

Is this related to coccidiosis? Is it normal shedding of intestinal lining? Something else?

It could be coccidiosis or possibly worms. Have they eaten anything unusual? I might start some Corid in their water just in case, and think about worming, especially if you see more. Albendazole 0.5 ml orally, and repeat in 10 days, or Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer 0.23 ml per pound for 5 daily doses orally are good wormers. Corid dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 ml of the powder per gallon of water for 5 days. Get that at most feed stores in the cattle medicines. Here is where to find albendazole:

I don't think they have eaten anything unusual but they do spend a bit of time free ranging.
I have Vetsense cocciprol and Vetsense kilverm wormer that I can use.
