Red spots on legs?

Two of my RSL hens have got red spots on their legs. They are not pimples but more of a skin pigment that is bright red. I read an old post that said it can be from very wet weather and it rained 5 inches here lately. They are small red dots not bumps and you cant feel them. No discomfort to the birds at all. Please help a new chicken owner out.

Same thing is on our roosters legs... But a lot more. They act and feel healthy. Not on the feather legged rooster though far as I can tell.

Thank you. I thought it was some awful mite under the skin or something even worse.

It is normal for a rooster to have a line of red spots along the shank, like the comb, it will appear brighter when he is verile ( working ) .

They are pullets. Not Roos.

The spots on your hen look more randomly spaced than those commonly seen on Roos. I would put some Vaseline on them , just in case it is the first sign of mites. An ounce of prevention..................
