So... I feel like im starting to post a lot of threads... I have such a small flock, with the most problems... Lately I have been dealing with bumble foot, shock, heat, etc... The past 3 days, one of my hens Peaches, has made eggs in weird spots... On the ground, stairs and in the middle of the coop. This came to a pause on Saturday, and what I though/hoped would be today. Although, while looking at her egg in the nest, I saw what looked like blood on the egg, a bump and on the bump, streaks of lines that made it look like it was broken. Here are pics... Please let me know what is happening!

The first one you can kind of see the "cracks" and on the top left side, the red.

Heres a pic of Peaches. She acts normal so not sure...

How old is she? Is there any stress or upset in the pecking order? Are you feeding a layer feed? The egg may have been cracked during production. Here is a good article to read about egg shell problems and possible causes:

She is around 1 and a half year old. Nope, she is the boss lady. Yes we are feeding layer feed + oyster and grit on the side + Nutri-Drentch. I think you are right, maybe she jumped down to hard and it craked inside maybe? Will read, thank you!
