I've found some Pullets for sale near me. They have 2 breeds to pick from, Red Star and Black Australorp.
Which one will do better in Missouri weather?(Sunshining and then pouring down rain, hot then cold)
Which one is more docile?

I've never had the australorps but we love our red stars. They lay huge eggs like crazy and have great personalities. DBF said when/if we do it all over, he'd only have red stars and black stars. Excellent birds.

Black Australorps for me.

Remember that breed used to heat and cold without a problem, with vents and proper shade, they will do fine. They are calmer to me than Red or Black sex links.
