Pullet means female
Cockeral is male

Female chickens are called pullets until they are 1 year old - then they are hens
Males are called cockerel unitl 1 year old - then they are roosters - although many will say roo instead of cockerel

Do not be afraid to ask anything - everyone starts somewhere and many are new - I still have so much to learn and you can't unless you ask!

What stock do you use to make your red stars? or are these hatchery birds?

These are from are from a private hatchery not a commercial hatchery. I did not hatch them myself. I iwll be infuture once I can decide what breed to settle on. I have had such a demand for layers that I am just trying to keep customer base satisfied and trying hard not to use a commercial hatchery. I may have to for next batch if I can't find another private hatchery with enough chicks.
