red streaked yolk

I am a first time chicken owner. I have 5 chickens ,buffs and americanas. For the first time I cracked an egg that was laid this morning and there is a very large red streak in the yolk area. I don’t have any roosters, they get food grade DE in their food and their dust bath area. They have an coop and an enclosed area of 20 x 20. They are let out to roam at 7 am until dusk which now is about 630pm. I have attached a picture for clarity. Thank you for any help
P.s. I do have wild turkey’s in the area ?

Ah, it just means that while the egg was being formed a blood vessel ruptured. It's fine, it happens every once in a while. It doesn't mean that it's fertilised, it's normal for young layers. Don't worry about the hen, she will be fine too.

Wild turkeys will not mate with you chickens (Sorry i could help but chuckle at that) *Ahem* blood in a yolk doesn't mean it's fertile. In fact, You'll come across these eggs every now and then. Nothing to worry about, Though I would worm them all just in case if i were you

Welcome to BYC. That can happen from a broken blood vessel while the egg is forming. I had a hen who started laying one occasionally the first year she laid. Then after a few months, every egg she laid was bloody. that continued for a few more months, and she stopped laying permanently. Here are some good links to read:

Thank you can you advise on the worming process

If possible, get a few fresh droppings checked by a vet to see if there are worms and worm eggs, and identify the kind of worm. Some never worm their chickens unless they have a problem. Many wormers that people used are not approved for poultry, but many use them with a 14 day egg withdrawal. I use Valbazen myself, but SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer (fenbendazole) is another popular one. Wazine (piperazine) is only for roundworms. Here is some reading:

Ok, I don’t visibly see worms in any dropping’s is it possible that they could be infected and I wouldn’t see them by the naked eye?
