I have a beautiful red-tipped blue bantam EE cockerel available, 5 1/2 weeks old. I believe his head will darken and lose all the blonde and duckwing markings as he matures.

This is just a beautiful and unusual color, and would be great for someone wanting a fun BBS project. I got his father because his markings were just incredible. Here is daddy (below) - - he is a beautiful red-shouldered splash EE (with hen-pecked beard, LOL!):

The father is a fantastic flock protector, and he is 100% accurate at calling out hawks and other preds. I do not know the egg color the father came from, but the mama lays the darkest blue egg of my flock!

Here's the mother (the gold duckwing EE in the front):

Hey Jen,

This just amazing! I'm so glad I caught the add and got to see one of his babies. The little guy looks remarkably like his father!

Ira is looking great. Ramses has a hen-picked beard as well! I just hate it that they do that.

Thanks for the note! I think this chick is going to be an amazing color when he matures. He is losing those duckwing colored feathers, and he may well be a red-tipped blue when all is said and done.

If I had the space for more hen wives, I would keep him!
