If it is in fact canker, you'll need to wait and watch for the lesions to appear and treat accordingly as I mentioned in post #13. The only thing you can do now is observe your birds.

Hey chickenWisperer, I am so sorry for your losses! I'm dealing with what I suspect is my first case of canker and I'm watching the rest of my flock too. Ugh, so stressful. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing you've given your girls a great life!
