Redbud Tree and ducks?

I have a big ol Redbud Tree.......did some major trimming yesterday as I couldn't mow under it anymore...now I have tons of branches, each with tons of seedpods. Was thinking of throwing them into the duck pen, which is just dirt (er, mud).

any idea if this is ok for ducks?

Well, I've never heard of a redbud tree (and I'm shamed...my husband is a part-time logger) but I think you're probably safe to throw them in there. This website says it's not poisonous, so I say go for it.

Sounds good to me. Couple with the fact this tree is in my yard where the chickens free range and nobody has ever keeled over, I'm going to go with it.
