Redcap?

Ordered straight run chicks, and received 10 breeds that are all new to us. We did get a packing list, and 3 of the chicks died within the first week, so we are guessing with a few. We should have gotten 2 Redcap chicks, but we think one of those may have died.

A Redcap should have a Rose Comb, and dark leaden blue shanks (per APA). Is this possibly our Redcap?

We also received: BCM, BlueCM, Creme Legbar, GLW, Blue Ameraucana, Salmon Faverolle, and Erminette (white with black flecks feathering/ straight comb) and Rose Comb RIR.

That doesn't look like a redcap, although I've never had one. I would guess it's the ameraucana.

Yes, it is a bit young and actual feathering is sparse, but is the comb a Rose type? Or is it too early to tell definitively?

It looks like a rose, and it looks like a pea... at this stage in the game, I'd have to wait a bit longer.

Thanks! That was what I was wondering. At this age a cushion, pea, and rose comb could all look similar I suppose. We only have had experience with pea combs on EE. We've never had a cushion comb or rose comb breed. Although, we do have 2 Rose Comb RIR in this batch of chicks (not posted yet), but their combs are also not so definitive.
