Rediculos Question

I know this is ridiculous question but in an incubator you need a sponge full of water to raise humidity right? and 2nd question. How do you measure humidity?

haha thanks.I feel welcome. i got grounded this weekend so i was bored and couldn't go nowhere so i was like hey ill make an incubator just for fun. but truth is it'll prolly sit in the attic.
so you do need a sponge right?
