Sweety's egg #7 is a smart Cookie and will hatch when s/he's perfectly cooked. I'm just being impatient and selfish hoping to be here for it.

Lol, I didn't think of that in relation to eggs (and chickens). You're probably right.
In my defence, as a former midwife I'd hear that in relation to pregnancies all the time. "Baby's still cooking." Probably related to a " bun in the oven." Sorry, shall I say instead, Cookie is "still developing"?

Tomorrow is lockdown! Hoping all the chicks make it through the grueling hatch I swear I heard peeping this evening, but it could just be my imagination . . . This will probably be the last night I get a decent night sleep until the hatch is complete. If any of you are night owls you'll probably get minute to minute updates, lol. I'll get as many videos and pictures as I can once the hatch starts.
