I can't seem to keep the humidity to get to more than 61% with both channels filled. I just added a damp sponge. We'll see if that does the trick.

Good job Sweety!I just candled the eggs Sweety is sitting on and they look great! I'll post the video later, but I snagged them real quick while she was off the nest for a bit.
Back to manual labor
PS: No pips yet, just tiny wiggles here and there.
ETA: The sponge worked![]()
Oh no! I hope it's back on soon! This totally sucks... torrential rain and the power went out![]()
Hopefully you get power back soon. Do you have a generator? Thankfully eggs towards the end of hatch handle cooling much better than towards the beginning. Perhaps wrap a towel around the incubator to hold in the heat. This totally sucks... torrential rain and the power went out![]()
I have an incubator that accepts an ATV battery, but I loaned it to a friend.Oh no! I hope it's back on soon!
And now I'm adding a generator to my list of things to have before I hatch eggs. Our power goes out way more often than it should.
Well doesn't that just figure?I have an incubator that accepts an ATV battery, but I loaned it to a friend.
No generator it's on my ever growing list of things to get around to.Hopefully you get power back soon. Do you have a generator? Thankfully eggs towards the end of hatch handle cooling much better than towards the beginning. Perhaps wrap a towel around the incubator to hold in the heat.
I'm actually more concerned about them shrink wrapping in the shell without the humidity.Hopefully you get power back soon. Do you have a generator?
