Crowing
The woman I got them from was upfront about the fact that she just started breeding them and wasn't sure what the outcome would be. If she hadn't been I would be more upset about it. They were $50 for a dozen, which is cheaper than I've seen from other sellers.I wonder if this is common with them, or just bad luck? I've bounced between getting zombie eggs, or Ayam Cemani and White Leghorn eggs and taking that route to making zombies. But I'd hate to have no luck.
I'd rather give someone starting out a chance, and she's appreciated my feedback and sending her links to the candling videos so she knows she needs to make adjustments, either another male or less pullets.
She also lives close by so I don't have to worry about having them shipped if/when I decide to get chicks from her next spring whens she hatches some.
