New hen hut ,,,for when the snow melts..Need to place some wire around the bottom three sides and a small sliding vertical door,,Starting to get heavy, It will be semi -mobile. I plan on putting a small lip on the roof edge..then place some chicken wire and dirt or sod ,,,If the weather breaks...
Notice thin white board,,it is salvaged cutting boards,,,from local retail store. It slides out for colder weather.Plus it makes clean up a breeze. Bottom of coupe has wire cloth just like door...But just 1/2 of the bottom
Still needs some paint..or stain. Oh I think I got the hinges and nails & screws ,wire-cloth for $$$$.
Everything else was salvage out of the NORTH STAR BOROUGH MALL. ( That is what the wife calls it ..She says just ask and You should receive)
All salvages material and some pallet thrown in for good measure,,,I loved doing this stuff when i was a kid in Arkansas,,,DIY /REDUCE _REUSE_RECYCLE. It make me feel better

My coop is going to be built of mall finds as well! I've been collecting wood for awhile now and I am just waiting for the snow to melt to begin construction.
