Does reducing the brooder heat lamp temperature @ 5 degrees per week apply to Coturnix quail as well?

If so, are we talking 5 degrees F or C? I'm guessing this refers to F.

My reference is the temperature at the floor of the brooder directly under the heat lamp, on the hot end of the brooder.

Thanks!

I do believe that the reducing it 5% F also includes Coturnix Quail. We are talking 5 F, not 5 C. 😁 Hope that this helps!

Yes, though coturnix quail will be perfectly comfortable at room temperature by three weeks for the most part. They are usually fully feathered by 4-5 weeks.
Thanks guys. Yes they don't seem too fussed about the temperature in the brooder with their 10-day-old little feathers. They continue to be active in all zones, and they sleep by the side walls in the hot end.
