Annalise breathed a sigh relief. "Oh, that's good, very good," she said hurriedly. "Do you want anything to drink? I have dandelion milk and water in the house," she added.

"Water would be fine," Skrel said, preening her wing feathers, trying not to show how nervous she was about being on the ground.

Skol jogged around and spotted a barn owl on the ground, thinking that was strange he walked over and noticed that there was a squirrel there too.

Tulin was listening to the conversation, and watching, "An owl on the ground," he thought, "Thats not normal..."

Annalise noticed the other owl in the brush watching her and Skrel. She became a little worried that she would be ambushed, but instead waited for Skrel to reply.

He silently dropped down to another branch, to get a little closer...

He took stock of the situation, but he accidently stepped on a loose branch

As Annalise turned to leave, she noticed that Skrel didn't like being on the ground. "If you'd like, I could bring it up to you on the tree if you're more comfortable that way," she said.

"Thank you, that would be most appreciated," Skrel said, glad to get off the ground. She took off and flew silently to the lowest branch she could find.

"Oh hi Oka" Tulin said and then jumped down to a branch so he could talk with the blue heron better

"Thank you, that would be most appreciated," Skrel said, glad to get off the ground. She took off and flew silently to the lowest branch she could find.

Annalise hurried into and out of the burrow very quickly, carrying a cup of water with her as she left. "Here," she said, handing the cup to Skrel.
