"So skol , where did you say you saw that stone ?" Oka asks
"I don't quite remember," Skol said honestly, "I had put it back, but it could be anywhere by now, ya know?" He looked around trying to remember the spot.
" Oh ok that's fine ! I don't need it anyway ..just thought they looked interesting " oka said . Oka climbs out of the water and flaps his wings to dry them off .
Skol looked around and listened to the sounds of the forest, his large ears pivoting this way and that. "The forest sounds so beautiful," he said quietly.
Skol thought for a minute and remembered the stone he had found earlier that day that fit the description. He reached his paw into his pocket and withdrew the stone. He held it out to Oka, "Is this what you are looking for?"
" Yes i agree " oka said quietly as well
"Oh wow ..yes that's it ! , Oka says picking it up with his foot and surveying it ." Are you sure I could have it !?"
"Yeah, sure," Skol said, "I've no use for it anyway." His soft fur rustled in the breeze created from an owl landing. Skrel had finished her glass of water and had politely excused herself from the little squirrel. She landed next to the little group that was speaking and listened quietly. Her feathers reflecting the light from the sun.
"Thanks !" Oka said exitedly , "who are you ?" He said referring to the new owl .
"I am Skrel," she said, looking at the bird. She swiveled her head to look at a branch behind her, thinking she heard a mouse but saw nothing.
