Went to the kankakee sale today and found a Sears redwood incubator for $75. Could not pass on it so now I am upgradedfrom the LG. Cant wait to get some Peafowl eggs in it!!!

Oooh gratz on your new incubator! I hope you have many successful hatches

I was there,,he stole it at gunpoint!!! Seriously with a little disenfecting, wiping down, then turning it on and tweaking it to get everything set right, except for auto turners,,you stole that bator,,even if you have to replace parts. If you fill that up with eggs, you'll be working tons of overtime to buy feed.

It has been holding steady at 100 degrees sinceni brought it home and plugged it
in. I already transferred from eggs from my LG into it. It has a turner where I pull a lever and it rotates the eggs. I can't wait to fill it up

You will be so pleased with it. I switched to redwood incubators last year and I will never use anything else again! My hatch rates soared! Congrats on your find...can you send some of that rainbow my way? lol

The wooden bators do work better. My Dickey's is not redwood but is wood. It is much better than any of my GQF's which are made of pressed wood. All of my best turkey eggs and all my pea eggs go in the Dickey's! I put the quail, chickens, scrub turkeys, ect in the GQF's! Good luck!!!!!
