Hi there,I live on a shooting estate in Hertfordshire, UK, and have had 2 Reeves, one of which was accidently shot in the Winter 2013. The most aggressive one is left and will not let me out of the door of my house unless I feed him. I do this now just to keep him off me but its resulting to tactics to avoid him. He pecks, attacks, and flies at me for no reason! Please can somebody help me to deal with him, knowing it's May and the breedingt season is upon us, but he doesnt have a female mate!!

I feel like I am being stalked!

Any advice would be great. Many thanks.

get a pen and a few females for him

Spray bottles don't work on our Football (we call him that because he likes to play football, meaning getting kicked back every time he attacks anyone going into the pen). Keeps quite the pick (literally) on everyone!

Absolutely, get him at least 5 hens.Do not put just 1 hen in he will kill her for sure. When you get the hens, you need to put the hens inanother pen and add him to them.If you put the hens in his pen again he will kill them.He will be a very fertile breeder for you.

best cure for an aggressive reeves-

pluck, place in slow cooker, add veggies, cook overnight, enjoy your now friendly bird.
No way every aggressive reeves I've had has been an excellent breeder and fertile for many years.Leave him be his is not meant to be a pet.Get him some hens and let him give you many chicks.
