Hey guys my chicken who has been on treatment of "Neomycin & Doxycycline Combination Medicine" for upper respiratory infection .suddenly refused to eat his fav corn he's refusing food

What to do ?
Is this is the side effects???

Antibiotics can destroy the good bacteria in the intestines. How long has he been on them? I would give him 5 ml of plain yogurt daily, and make sure that he is drinking water with vitamins and electrolytes if possible. Try some wet chicken feed or bits of cooked egg to coax him to eat.

Only 2 days dear .
I'm.giving him vitamins .

Well, it might be the medicine. I would stop it for a day or two and see if he feels better. Doxycycline may treat the respiratory infection if it is bacterial, but neomycin is more for treatment of intestinal infections. Many respiratory diseases are caused by viruses which do not respond to antibiotics. Mycoplasma or coryza may respomd though. Antibiotics such as tylosin, oxytetracycline, and tiamulin are some besides doxycycline that treat those two.
