alright, I've been candling eggs for about three years now and
maybe I just haven't noticed it before but today I candled my eggs
that are on day 21 and for the most part looked great but 1 had
blood ring so pulled it out and 2 had "space" for not knowing what
to call it in the pointy end of the egg?? the others did not....
so are they bad? looking from the rounded end they look good,
I could see veining and movement ????? of course,
they are getting harder to see, getting fuller...

when I candle duck eggs I can see space in the pointy end but
there is veining visable there too with duck eggs...

I wouldn't give up on an egg that contains a confirmed, viable keet, no matter where the air sac is. I had one that had a vertical air sac, up and down the length of the egg due to about a 1/4 inch hole in it (no kidding) that I "patched" with a small piece of electrical tape, and I fully expected it to die in shell. Every time I candled it was still living, so I let it go until it either hatched or died. It hatched, healthy as could be.

Of course, an air sac in the pointed end isn't a good sign, but if my damaged, weird egg can hatch, so can yours. Expect the worst/hope for the best. They want to live, and nature sometimes accommodates them in spite of the odds.
