She was a big girl for a Thoroughbred (wide and big boned). Never did try polo even though there were a few places to do it. My hand to eye coordination isn't very good, so I doubt I'd be able to hit the ball, lol. Most of the competitive riding I've done has been eventing, hunter/jumpers and the Welsh circuit.@casportpony
Katie has alot of substance.... did you ever give polo a try? We have a huge polo community in San Diego.

I love Thoroughbreds once they "grow up" I had an off the Track gelding by the name of Stone Road. Kentuckey bred. At six years old he was built like a greyhound... Deeep chest but narrow... I found him a good home with a hunter jumper person...

Just found out that there is a polo place a few miles from me... Kind of rare in this area. Only three other arenas I know of futher north.
