Reeno is a registered, 100% foundation bred, 5 year old chestnut leopard appaloosa stallion. He is 15 hands, but has a great sturdy build, and is more of an "old style" horse. He is not broke to ride, but has been backed and showed great promise. I only backed him right before winter set in, and if he is still here come spring, I will be putting more time on him. Reeno is great with the ladies, and is in the pasture with a few mares that cannot reproduce anymore right now. He has also lived with my geldings and a mini with no problems. Reeno has sired a colt, out of a paint mare. The colt has SO much color you'd never know his Mom was not an appy! Reeno is a very good boy, and is not mean, but he is a stallion, and must be handled as such. I will NOT sell him to an inexperienced horse person. Reeno has a wonderful amount of forelock, mane, and tail (long and thick), and strong feet. He has NEVER has shoes on, has never been lame, and has never had any sickness of any kind - no colic or anything. We feed crimped oats and they have free-range hay (alfalfa grass mix).
Please note, Reeno is blind in his left eye. He lost his sight due to an injury when he was only 1 month old. This is NOT hereditary. Reeno is extremely healthy, a SUPER EASY keeper, and is used to being out 24/7. I have had him since he was about 6 months old, so I can answer anything you might want to know
We can also provide trailering if needed at a "per loaded mile" fee. I cannot keep all of my horses anymore, and I am asking $500 for Reeno, but will consider offers. He is honestly worth it as a stallion - you'll make your money back on his first foal. He is perfectly fine to train for a riding horse, and is sensible - not spooky. Please ask any questions as I really do need to find homes for my horses!
Thanks for looking
I can also take more pictures but unfortunately video isn't possible right now because of the ground conditions... Hurry up spring!
Reeno has great markings & also has a cross on his shoulder:
