Rest in Peace 1970-2018
Does anyone know what this means?
I'm looking at some meat birds and asked the hatchery some questions.
I asked about mixing with my current flock and if you can keep them longer
than their full weight date. I asked the full weight question "just in case"
we ended up keeping one or two with our flock.
They said "they have a regressive gene built in which will not allow you to breed back".
What does this mean? I never intended to breed them. From the context of the
email it looks like they just can't be bred.
Thanks
