I have three roosters that we hatched the second to last week of August 2020. All three have shown no aggression towards humans at all, I just have way too many roosters and my hens are taking the blunt of it. They are pretty decent sized boys...breed is a bit mixed as they were all different eggs. They are a barn yard mix as each egg that was laid came from a different hen. The dad of all three I am almost positive is a black australorp who shows absolutely no aggression.

Pictures coming soon, I just have to run out and snap them!

I am located in Byron NY, and would prefer these guys go to someone that will love them as pets but I also understand that it may not happen.

They aren’t the best pictures, sorry!

I' m looking to adopt a rooster. I live about 1.5 hrs south of Pittsburgh, Pa. I have 5- RIRs, 5-Barred Rock and 5- ISA Browns. All my girls are about 1 year old and laying daily. I lost my previous (small) flock to coyote so my girls now have a 16X8 ft run and are spoiled daily ;)

Good luck re-homing your roosters. Its a shame they are so charming and personable but keeping more than one in a coop is very difficult. Finding someone who WANTS a rooster is very unusual. If you want good homes, you will consider driving to make it happen. I have paid out no less than $350 to rehome 3 roosters, all to different rescue situations. Since then I have given up and I cull the ones I can't keep. Again it's a shame they are so charming because you want to keep them but then you find out you just can't.
