Hello everyone. This is an extremely hard post for me to make, but I know it’s the right thing to do. I am looking for a home for my 3-4 year old Sebastopol gander, named Sebastian, and my 2-3 year old African goose, Gracie. Sebbie is from a show level line, and Gracie is from a hatchery. I love them both dearly, but I don’t have the time or space for them at the moment and I know they deserve better than what I’m currently able to give them. Sebastian is very friendly, but can be agressive towards men (usually during mating season). Gracie is standoff-ish pretty much all the time, but not agressive. Sebbie will come when called, and loves to be around people.

I am looking for someone who ideally has other geese and lots of space. It is a REQUIREMENT that you have some sort of pond/water setup that is big enough for them both to swim in. I really want the best homes possible for these two (must go together). I will have a rehoming fee for them, because I want them to go to a good home. I’m located in Enfield, CT. Please comment or send me a message if you’re interested. I’m in no rush for them to leave, so I’ll be making sure to find the best possible home!

I unfortunately have not yet, but hopefully someone will be interested soon!
Maybe you can post them on Craigslist? And just say "To approved home only" in your ad.
If you'd like to try Craigslist, but have never posted on there before, here's an article that I wrote on how to post on there: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/how-to-post-on-craigslist.76257/
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, and I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. :)
