Hi everyone! Unfortunately a coyote or other prey has gotten to my male cayuga’s mate, and now he is alone. I don’t want to get any more ducks or chickens as I have tried my best to keep them safe, but they keep getting picked off despite my attempts. If anyone is interested in him, I would let him go for free and I can even throw in some feed and pools if interested. He is a Cayuga drake and will be almost a year old in July.

Hi. I am in Alabama, and my male Rouen just lost his best friend, who was also a drake.
I'm sorry for your loss.
My drake is so sad and it's heartbreaking. He has a mirror by his pool, but it's just keeping him preoccupied most of the time.
I have had them both for 4 1/2 years, so finding one of them dead was a lot for me, too.
There were two different raccoons that I caught on my duck run camera that killed my other drake, and I have caught them both in traps with my Dad since, and it is quiet again.
Please let me know if you still need a home for your drake. I will drive to you if need be.
