It is with heavy heart that I have to type this... but I have to move away soon, and where I'm going doesn't permit having pets. I am so devastated but I have no other choice. Is there anyone who wants to adopt 3 female pekins and 1 muscovy male? I am willing to make the commute. Please help. :'(

@Chocorobo12 , I am way too far away in NE Florida to adopt your flock

Please reach out to you state group in this forum

Also try your local wildlife rehabber as they may know a local person able to take them. I recently rescued a rooster and my local rehabber found him a home within 2 weeks--rehabbers have wide networks of supporters.

Also your chapter of the humane Society or the ASPCA may arrange adoptions for ducks or have contacts with backyard duck keepers who can help you.

I feel your pain having to give up your sweet ducks. I just hope that doesnt happen to me or my son

I've rehomed and acquired my birds on Craigslist. Price them a bit high and engage in a discussion about their new home to weed out the butchers. $15 seems to be the butcher max in my area. Some religions only eat males so being pushy about gender w/o a reason can be a red flag.
