Hello all,
We are looking to rehome our flock of ten very loved laying hens. See my other post, and I won’t bore you with too many details, but we have a complicated pregnancy/birth situation which has left us feeling like we are falling behind on even our minimum standard of care (which to be fair is pretty high as these are pet chickens) like cleaning out their coop frequently and letting them out first thing in the morning, and we are afraid that when the baby is actually here that we will fall even more behind. We want the best for them and think they could be better cared for in the right situation. They are free range and have been eating Scratch and Peck layer feed, which we can also send with you to help them transition to whatever feed you provide. See pictures for reference, but we have four silkies, two Ameraucana, one Wyandotte, one Polish, and one bantam frizzle, and one Cochin. Prefer to send them as a flock to minimize stress, but open to selling them in small groups as well. Ages between 6 months and 1 1/2 years. We are located near Corvallis, Oregon.
