Rehoming Roos - any suggestions?

I acquired my first batch of chicks ever in March and of the 7, 5 of them ended up being roos. I have managed to find homes for 4 of them, but I have the 5th sitting in my basement getting bigger and bigger.

He is a fairly sweet guy (for a rooster) and is really pitiful because I moved all of the hens out into the coop last weekend. I feel sorry for him, but not sorry enough to put him in the coop and let him rile things up.

I have posted an ad on my local Chicken MeetUp and on Craigslist. I am not asking for any money and I am not even asking that he not end up soup. But so far I have had no takers. I am getting to the point where I am at a loss so I thought I would see if anyone here had any suggestions that I might not have tried yet.

I initially thought he was a RIR - but now I am not so sure. He is big and red and is getting a significant tail already - I can see green light in the black. I think he will be really pretty, but also has the possibility to be pretty tasty. I just don't think I can do the deed myself.

If not I see you tried craigslist - I also got rid of some of mine at a local auction
I live in Delaware so I can't help with any local for you but maybe some in the area can .

But if he's nice and you can have them he will watch over the girls - roo's aren't all bad just some - of you fid a good one keep him

Technically I cannot have chickens so roos are right out. And unfortunately if I was going to keep a roo it wouldn't be this guy. I have a younger roo that is out in the coop with the ladies - I will most likely rehome him tho. I don't anticipate having a problem because he is a lovely BLRWyandotte - splash base I think.

I had considered the feed store - and I might try that route if I can find one other than my local one. I was avoiding it because, unfortunately, our local feed store also has a booming business in selling "accessories" for individuals who own large numbers of pitbulls. I am afraid that most of the roos that are placed out of that store end up being utilized in "training" activities. And while I am OK with someone humanely harvesting the bird for meat - I cannot bring myself to be OK with what would happen to him in that circumstance.
