Rehoming: Special needs Peking Hen needs loving caretaker NE Md

I was given this duck only knowing the owner had passed. Turns out she is crippled and had BOTH wings clipped (as furious as I was about the wings, since she can barely walk, an educational chat w the owner wasn't possible) she is very sweet and wants companionship with another duck but the rest just leave her be where she sits, it's sad. I have a slew of other animals and cannot spend enough time in the day to give her the companionship she really needs and don't have the heart to cull her. She is a pet, they named her "Duck" yeah, I opted for "Fluffy", she has curly, fluffy feathers and it fit lol.

Welcome to BYC! I recommend taking down your email, because anyone could email you about anything at any time(I doubt it would happen on BYC, but its possible.) To upload pictures, select attach files, chose documents, and find old pics in your gallery of the poor girl. Good luck finding her a home!

Thanks for the tip, I did delete my email and took some pics, and thanks I hope a lonely duck lover has room and time for her. I was just sick when I saw they trimmed both wings!!! Poor thing can barely walk, what was the point in that I'll never figure out!!
