Rehoming Sweet Dog (SE Texas)

DH and I are fostering a very sweet rat terrier/Italian greyhound mix. She is ten years old, a bit shy, and LOVES to snuggle and sleep. She would do very well in a low-key home with no small children.

She was an owner surrender at the vet clinic DH manages, and we didn't want her to end up in a shelter.

Have you tried the breed rescue groups for your area? They maybe able to help with prospective homes, and they will often be able to put ads up for you on places like Petfinder.

I emailed the rat terrier rescue, and a more local, Houston-based IG rescue. I'm afraid they won't want to publicize her because she's a mix, but we'll see. I just started posting her yesterday, so it's too early to get discouraged.
