Hi, so we have a hen hatching some chicks at this moment, . She's been brooding on her own in a little shed that she likes. About a week ago we had to block off that part of the garden to the rest of the flock, so she is now isolated from the rest. My question is how do I reintroduce her with as little bother as possible. My thoughts at the moment are to move her into the nesting box just as soon as they've all hatched, thinking she'll protect the chicks well while her hormones are up. But at the same time I'm worried about disturbing her. Any thoughts?

I free range my Flock and slip Momma and Chicks back into the Coop...They never bother her. They just think she came back with Chicks. My Rooster sometimes scolds the Hen until he sees the Chicks. I introduce at around 3 to 5 days old..
