Agnes, a hen I had to remove from the herd for doctoring of her mutilated wind. Pin feathers coming in and the girls got hungry or something. Treating with Neosporin topically and oral Antibiotic water. Healing up well, have been in a kennel for one week and anticipate another week to 10 days more. Question, will I have problems putting her back in with the other 30 birds? Never kept a hen away for this long and not sure of the reaction. thanks

I would for sure introduce her in a kennel or a fenced area next to the flock. They will pick on her and if they even see a hint of the scab or feathers missing they WILL peck her bloody in that area.
