Rejected eggs

My hen is laying in her eggs but she put 2 on the side of her just today and they are suppose to hatch any day now

Is it hot out? Sometimes they do that when they start hatching, or if it's hot out. Be ready if she rejects them. Is it her first time? Sometimes they don't know what chicks are or what to do with them. Hopefully she's a good mom.

Yea it's hot out and it's her first time and they should hatch any time now

When it is hot with a large clutch, some eggs will be allowed out from under her. If you watch those eggs will be roated back under her within an hour of so.

Well I candled all the eggs come to find out only 3 out of 18 eggs are alive and not later the same time 1 is going to hatch soon the other 2 in a couple weeks
