I’ve had chickens for less then a year, but I’ve been reading up on them, in particular on backyardchickens for years, so it’s been very smooth. I just did my first hatch. I had my broody silkies hatch out a variety. So I have a blue laced red Wyandotte, a blue copper Maran, and two Belgian d’uccles, a porcelain and a mottled
(Which we already figured out) They are now 3 weeks old. I keep reading trying to find any clues as to their gender. Any help is appreciated.

they are very cute! they are also a bit young to sex reliably. Generally the cockerels develop their comb colour and size faster than the pullets; they also have thicker shanks, though that's harder to distinguish when they're really young, and they will grow different shaped, very sword-like feathers around the neck and saddle, but that comes much later.

thank you! I’m watching them like a hawk. They are really fun and adorable, and I just want to prepare myself mentally to have to rehome them if they are roosters.
