We are starting to think about relocating our mallards. The 4 youngest are pretty wild and fly frequently but will allow us to herd them in at night(if they're already in the fence). Anyway, some friends have a couple large ponds and are wanting them. So my questions are: should we wait until spring to relocate? and will they fly back?
I think they are all male but 1 and she rarely flies anymore but all the others fly daily.
