Just a little note, the BR with the "grey" legs is actually a Maran. Barred Rocks have yellow legs. There is an exception, though. Sometimes there can be BR's with grey legs. Mostly hatchery BR's though. I thought I had 3 BR's with grey legs but I found out they are Cuckoo Marans. 1 of those is a rooster which I was sold as a "hen". In the end I'm happy I have him. He hasn't matured at all. No crowing, no interest in hens. He's more like a hen himself lol. He does have quite a few gold feathers which started out as a few on his neck and now they're everywhere. I think he's a Golden Cuckoo Maran. But I've had my share of being sold roosters as hens. Just last month I was sold 2 Cochin "hens" and 1 rooster. All 3 were roosters! Grr!
