My DH who grew up on a farm told me that one of the calves was a bull and he had wanted a heifer out of that cow. I didn't double check it-he should know the difference. I called the trucker when "he" was ready to go. Luckily, "he" was laying down and I kicked him up from the back end. I saw rather quickly "he" was a SHE! I sent the trucker on without the calf. Now, we give DH a hard time and ask him if he is sure it's a bull calf and I double check!

OMGoodness! That is too funny! Your DH needs to go back and re learn some of the 'basics' of life! I bet it will be fun telling him tonight!

I had the same problem with my DH. We got a male puppy from the neighbor. It HAD to be a boy. Well, I bring him home and bathe him in the kitchen sink, and I quickly learned that his 'he' was a 'she'. My DH didn't believe me for days, even after showing him what parts the dog had! Poor fella. But I've had fun rubbing it in for the past 7 years! and for however many more I get to !
