Remember my BR, Ivy, Dying of Internal Laying?

I'm glad Ivy is doing so much better! You've had enough problems.

Cyn, so glad to hear Ivy's feeling better! And, hope Tux pulls through okay.

Yep - out with '08, in with '09!

Well, that just made my day!!! Here's to 2009, and to the positive changes you've made! Sometimes you just need to shake things up a bit!!! Keeping the good vibes going for Tux....

and you know I'm partial to those Barred Rocks!

Cynthia,
Wow, so glad things are better for Ivy.

Keeping fingers crossed for Tux.

I still wonder if there might be a bacteria or virus in the soil and the girls are ingesting it and causing reproductive problems.

Well, now how are the two girls today? I lost one last night...don't know what happened just found her lying dead on the floor of the coop this morning. She was one I was culling from the flock but had no idea she was ailing. Her butt looked like pasty butt, kind of.

Well, hello there ninnyl! Welcome to byc! I must have missed your earlier posts, sorry.
Yes, I sure have heard of West Plains. Not too far from us...maybe a couple hours or less? We usually shop in Springfield but have two daughters who are living in Cabool and they always go to West Plains as it is closer for them. We keep saying we need to head over your way but so far..............
